We want to be here for you during this trying time in our nation and around the globe.
Currently, North Carolina’s Judicial Branch has activated its public health emergency policy due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Jennifer Allen Law is working hard to stay updated with the latest information from the courts. If you have any questions about this, please see below for some answers to some FAQs.
My court date was/is set during the period that the courts were/are closed, what do I do?
Answer: Due to some aspects of the courts being closed until the public health emergency has ended, your court date was most likely moved to a later date. You can go to: http://www1.aoc.state.nc.us/www/calendars/CriminalQuery.html to see your new court date. If you needed to appear on that previous court date, we will send you an update email letting you know how we are handling your specific case. We are updating our systems every day with the latest information on your case and are sending out update emails to our clients.
How have the courts responded?
